Hey there other wastelanders! Is the GOG version of FNV as crash-happy as it is over on Steam? I absolutely adore this game and it stacks up to be one of my favorite games of all time even after all these years, but the crashes take the wind out of my sails whenever I try to experience it on Steam. I have tried many anti-crash mods in hope of fixing the game for good, but it appears that nothing works and I thought it may just be due to my PC (it's not the greatest rig, but not the worst either: CPU-AMD A6-7400K, GPU-Nvidia GTX 950, RAM-8GB). I might just buy it on here if you guys can recommend it and possibly give your experience/performance so far in playing the game on here, thank you so much for any and all replies! (P.S. I'm not worried about performance in terms of FPS as it was a solid 60 on Steam with the highest graphical settings when it did manage to play).

It's the same version as the Steam version. Except the 4GB patch has already been applied.

For me, the game is pretty stable, 1 crash in 60 hours. I'm using NVAC, stutter remover (with the Windows heap replacment), ENBoost and a few other mods.
I played this game for nearly 100 hours and crashed maybe once - I can't remember if it crashed in F3 or New Vegas, but it was incredible stable.

I have a different setup than your PC though.

Thanks for the heads up! The 4GB mod being already installed sounds very inticing as I've installed that for Steam NV, but I might've screwed something up in the process that prevents me from ever enjoying the game properly without crashes. I'll give it more of a look, but sounds great from your description.

That's actually fantastic to hear, thanks for the response!
