Just out of interest: Why is it a giveaway on gog, limited to a fixed time window? Will the mod cost something afterwards? I always thought it would be a free mod, so why the giveaway?

There's a link for the Steam version.

And once you own it on GoG, you can download an offline installer under your account (in 10 parts, ~33.1 GB).

The offline installer actually unpacks the files to a directory. You then run an installer from that directory which will install those files top whichever F4 location you specify..
