echosa: At some point, I picked up some of the older Fallout games on GOG. This includes "Fallout Classic". Today, I wanted to link a friend to the store page for that game, but it seems to no longer exist on GOG, though it does exist in my Library and is installed on my computer.
It's like that every time a game is removed from gog.
Due to legal reasons, the gog staff is some times forced to remove a game (and in some cases even an entire franchise) from their store.
BUT the removal affects only people that didn't purchase said game/franchise before gog was forced to remove it (btw if you can't find a specific game in the store, that you think you've seen before, search for the game subforum. If the game's forum exists but you can't access the page to buy it, the game was probably removed. Some times gog warns us about the removal of a game before it happens, like
this thread in the Chronicles of Riddick subforum, created by
fables22).
The game is not removed from your user's library, ever, just from the catalog.
The only time I heard people losing something from their library was due to a strange bug, but it happened years ago I doubt it still happens (but not a bad idea to keep your purchase confirmed emails and some screenshots of your games).
