I doubt it. All the update did was remove GFWL from the steam version, and this version doesn't have it to begin with.

They also did some "stability changes and improvements" - they didn´t elaborate what exactly those are, but those are what I am interested in.
I assumed the GWFL was removed from GOG version already.

I think you'll you find that it is still a new .exe though, in which case you'll need new version of FOSE for mods that use that.
