Hi

just wondering when GOG would cheer us with 1.7.0.4 patch - as since long ago all platforms having/had patch for this masterpiece:

- Steam
- Epic
- Bethesda (R.I.P.)

...so why we still await to have fully smooth & workable game?

And "No", GOG game still crashes in certian locations/sitations or settings - thanks to 1.7.0.3.

So citing The Prince -

"What The Hell Are You Waiting For?
XMAS :) ?
The main thing about this patch was removing GFWL, which was the cause of several crashes in on itself. It also modified the game's files in a way that it effectively destroyed FOSE and because of that made modding impossible. So in this case I think it's good we're outdated.
yep, but GOG version 1.7.0.3 still crashes. Steam version with 1.7.0.4 - without GFWL & FOSE - is OK...don't care about mods unless game is unplayable
1704 still crashes, it's a Bethesda game after all. In fact reports claim that it's worse than the previous patch and there's mods to roll back to 1703...
The Fallout Anniversary Patcher tweaks the GOG version with the stability fixes from the last patch.

This also works on FO3 GOTY from Epic; speaking from experience.

Holy crap, that got my game running. Was having the problem where it'd crash at new game start or game load from the main menu. Anniversary patcher actually made it so I could play. Weird part is, I have two systems I can still run FO3 GOTY on, and only one of had the issue.
