They tend to show up in game as radio stations. Can't remember the exacy titles but you should have some distress calls and requests for help if they've installed successfully. The DLC themselves are relatively far into the game so you can't access them immediately.

On the desktop startup screen click on data files and you'll see all dlc unchecked. All you have to do is check all of them before you click play and voila!
