Hey all,
When I try to start Fallout 2 it says something about it being in compatibility mode, and then refuses to run.
I'm on WinXP. The only mod I installed was the hi-res patch, but I haven't tried running without it (I'd have to redownload the FO2 installer again :P).

go to your fallout 2 folder. right click on fallout2.exe and then on properties. go to the compatibility tab and activate the mode. then close the property window, reopen it and then deactivate the mode again. this should fix it.
