So, I bought a laptop at Walmart earlier and I spent about $300 on it. I would've bought a gaming laptop, but they're really expensive. To be exact, my new laptop is an HP brand laptop and runs on Windows 11. After buying my laptop, I bought Fallout 1 and 2 on GOG, expecting them to run fine since they're both kinda old and I've played them on shitty middle school computers when I was younger. Anyways, when I try to launch Fallout 1, I get a popup that says:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately."

"The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform."

What the hell am I doing wrong? I just wanna play some OG Fallout, man.

Sorry for the late reply. I honestly forgot that the forum exists and I don't really check here often. Thanks for the advice though and I actually got Fallout to work by reinstalling it a couple times.
