Is there a way to set this up? If I select these options in hires config, I get 640x480 x2.

Are you talking about the Interplay version or the one sold by Bethesda? I think I remember playing Fallout 1 in higher resolutions, back in the day.

I've read that they're the same (installer), but if you own the classic one (Interplay); you get the old extras... // I have the classic.
Resolution itself isn't the issue (I can pick any, up until native)... it's about the resolution in windowed mode. ;-)

I found it!

You can resize the window manually, and it even remembers the size next time.
(when it's not in the foreground - so alt-tab, I don't know how to unlock the mouse cursor from the game in any other way)

I guess the resolution options in f1_res_Config.exe are only/mostly for fullscreen.

Thanks for the update. I'm one of those people who never plays windowed games, but it'll certainly be helpful for many folks.
