Quick question - I'm thinking of buying Fallout 1 from here and I was wondering if this version has the children and normal gore levels in it. Thank! :)
BTW - I did do a quick search, but I couldn't find a definitive answer.

As far as I know the gore level is normal (at least there definitely are very brutal death animations), but there are no childrens in it. I've heard that they were removed with an official patch, but can be added again using an unofficial one :)

Did the American version also get the patch that removed the children?

I actually think they said somewhere that the GOG version is the one with children in it... And I can't see why it shouldn't have normal gore levels in it.
Though I'm not aware of any children in Fallout 1 or any importance they might have(And didn't notice any).
Haven't played Fallout 2 yet. So I can't really say anything about that one..

Fallout 1 is missing the children. Fallout 2 has the children. Get this patch to put the children back in Fallout 1: http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload.php?action=file&file_id=569&sid=e488784b2783c2fc25fd708568c07c3d
Note that the patch overwrites Falloutw.exe. If you have any other patches that also overwrite it, be sure that you're using those other ones in order to ensure compatability between all your mods/patches.
