Do Fallout 1 & 2 from GOG come pre-patched? I would assume so, but I don't want to assume. :) Also, I've heard talk of the time limitation in Fallout 1, but for some reason I had thought that a future patch had removed this time limit. Is that the case, or am I thinking about an unofficial patch/mod?

Yes, they do.
The time limit was adjusted in one of the official patches, I think, but not removed.

Yeah, it was changed to 13 years, you'd have to try pretty hard to actually run out of time.

I thought that was part of the game eventually, to have the time limit run out.. I was actually looking forward to it.

It is. There are two time limits. One for completing a specific in-game task, the other for the overall game. The 13 year one is for the overall game.
