This is a ready to use version of CK compatible with GOG FO4 provided by @perchik71 (author of "F4 Creation Kit Fixes"). The fix is already preinstalled, but you still need to install the requirements (Material Editor & Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019). Links in the mod description. If you are a gog user and been struggling to run CK, don't hesitate to visit the creation Kit Fix page on nexus and endorse the mod.

This CK package contains the steam_api64.dll file. Won't this conflict with the GOG version of steam_api64.dll?

Skess01: Here not good news about Creation Kit on GOG...:

https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14871

"Can I get the Creation Kit from GOG?
No. At present, the Creation Kit is only available on Steam. Bethesda has confirmed the GOG version is not compatible with the Steam Creation Kit but all mods created using the Creation Kit will work with any PC edition of the game. "

LaughingCheeze: Of course. Only Bethesda would insist on DRMing the friggin editor. No one else does this Bethesda, why you gotta be like this????

It should be as easy as downloading it like it is for every other editor that I can think of.

This is unfortunate, but I figured this was the case and am not the least bit surprised. I'm not especially interested in future Bethesda titles until they knock off this crap.
Why only on steam, read the CK eula. All mods now made with the kit, are 100% property of bethesda. And these mods can not be found on the nexus. I personally not care, i don't need 100 different skins for my pip-boy.
