My saves suddenly stopped syncing. I was playing on another computer I have but it was working fine and then all of the sudden it won't sync.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can force it to sync the saves?

Thanks
Same here.

It will attempt to sync when first launching game then just stop. Been like this for a few days now.
Same, might be why my save games aren't loading.

you all know that you don't have to use galaxy right?

it runs great without it, no problems.

install NVSE, NVAC and YUP and start a new game and this version runs really really good.
Thanks, but I want to use the cloud

With hindsight i wouldnt have used galaxy as i considered it benign. Though it seems to be problematitc. Now, i really don't want to lose my progress.

Better than being "helpful" is working for you ;p

Yes, I can play no problem, the cloud just won't work.

you know, they will probably figure it out, but who knows when..

when they do you should be able to sync it then right?
sure you lose out on acheivements and what-not, but that's not the good part of New Vegas, or any other game.

personally I am just happy to be able to play this one at all, i don't mind having to start over (and i had a level 22 character on steam) so long as i can actually play it, and i can now. Because I couldn't it led into me beating fallout 3 multiple times, i know just about all of fallout 3 like the back of my hand because of it (I grew up in Montgomery county MD and the map isn't true, just location names and general stuff, so that isn't part of it).

you know, when i was in high school we used to go down to the montgomery county refilling station, right there by DC 101 (the radio station) and walk down the railroad tracks and climb up on the trestle and party.

I still remember the day the Greaseman said on Martin Luther King Jr's birthday "we should kill 4 more so we can take the week off" and got in major trouble. So wrong, on so so many levels. True stuff. Really happened, right outside the capitol.

don't take those links if you dislike laughing.
Now you know the inspiration behind the radio in Fallout.

I've actually "ported" my FO3 Version over to GoG after buying it here. Migrated over with all mods and savegames, with just a bit of tinkering. Galaxy launches FOSE when hitting play, just fine.

Then I installed New Vegas straight from GoG, didn't have that one before. Modded it, and tinkered with that one as well so Galaxy will launch it modded via NVSE, too. Real easy, just replacing the .ini file line that points Galaxy to the launcher of the game to point to the modded EXE instead.

I put off syncing cloud saves because, well, I've got close to 1.000h worth of saves on FO3, and it took quite a while to upload, so I cancelled. Now I wanted to sync those "over night" [however few minutes that might take] but it didn't do it.

Launching and quitting does the trick to trigger syncing, and might do fine for most cases. But having a manual "sync saves now" option would still be pretty dope.

I'll try again later whenever the cloud's able to take it again, I guess. Just throwing that out there, until then.
My save games (New Vegas) are actually loading again. Which is odd, but is good. Though it still says its not synced.

Your saves loading or not loading doesn't have anything to do with the cloud. The cloud is just online storage where your local saves are uploaded to. If your saves are in the list, and you click them, and they won't load in the game, that's a different problem.

Your saves "not loading" due to the cloud only makes sense if you play on two seperate PCs and want to continue playing on the other PC with the saves being synced via cloud. Then, they might simply not exist on the other PC if the cloud sync doesn't work properly. And in that case, you could always copy the save folder over to the other PC manually, too.
