i don't know why you guys are so pissed off about F3. Yes, I have played the first Fallouts and yes, they are brilliant, hell they eclipse most modern games. It just seems that F3 is going towards Deus Ex and System Shock. And were those bad games?

well there are A LOT of those and they are begging to get old. really old.

When I started playing Fallout a few days ago, I thought about how F3 will change it. I didn't like the thought at first, but after beating the game, I'm totally psyched for Fallout 3. I mean, I love the turn-based combat and the isometric view, they work fantastic for the game, but just think about this: Getting to interact with and see the Fallout universe from a ground level view. I mean, it may not be the same, but it's going to be something fresh and new for the game's canon. I think that if you're a true Fallout fan, you'd like the third one. A simple change in perspective shouldn't keep you from playing what is going to be a great follow-up to some of the best RPGs ever(unless you absolutely hate FPSes, then maybe).

Well it was a bad fallout game. Somehow fallout 1's animations seemed better than 3's animations(In my opinion). It was still not a bad game. Well at least not if you compare it to oblivion. God, i hated how much love that game got. There were like 3 voice actors,the most repetitive landscapes, lame combat,little rpg elements, the stupid you must sleep to level up, lame quests,ect. So at least they are getting better. The writing is definitely not black isle as well as the tone is nowhere near as spine tingling(The intro guy might be the same but the first 2 were better with him).
It might get a lot of hate but still it could of been worse.(I beet it).

This sums it up. It might not be the best Fallout or even Wasteland to exist, but it could have been a LOT worse.
Good luck for you diehards that won't or don't want to play it, I'm having fun with it but I will admit it's got some flaws.
