This game make up for its klunky interface by having an equally klunky combat.
Please. go back to your first person pile of similar games.

Shun the nonbeliever! Shuuuunnnnn!
Ahhhh, Purists Versus n00b; an epic conflict worthy of a game in its own right. ;)

Heh, when will they learn that the middle way is the best?
I really cant see why someone would sign up to Good old Games when they clearly dont like good old games XD
what if your not a purist or a n00b and are still looking forward to Fallout 3? :D I find it funny honestly. i've played all the fallout games and love them yet I'm still looking forward to fallout 3; that must mean I have no taste eh? :P
BTW I bought fallout 1 and fallout tactics on here; very cool site. Can't wait to see more games come out at gog.com.
that cant be right. either you love fallout 1/2 and hate 3 or the other way around...
thats how it works.
he's right, there is quite a clunky element to the whole bit. keep right clicking until you find the function you want!
could you just give me shortcut keys for attack, barter, and etc?
But the great thing about these games are the open environments. The choices you can make, or can't make depending on how you build your character.
That is what makes this game great, not the user interface.
but that's my opinion on Fallout 1, I haven't dived into 2 yet.

:D really now... Then I must be an exception as well ;)
Ah, and let it be known that I have both Fallouts 1 and 2 in original boxes and bought them when they came out (this is important is it not? :)
This discussion is beginning be hilarious... :D
Hey I had Fallout 1 and 2 in original boxes too! Although I must admit I got fallout in 99 and fallout 2 a short time after that (same year though.) Nay I am not as old school as some, but my roots are 50's retro and radioactive :D
i wish i bought fallout when it came out - but in '99 i was 10:(

Count me in for the love of old school Fallout and anxiously awaiting my preorder of Fallout 3. ;-)
My favorite was actually Fallout 2. The story was better in 1 but all the little interface tweaks and party controls they added in 2 make it hard to go back.
I played both when they came out. They are and always have been among my favorite games of all time.
