Same issue here.

I crashed just as the train ride was starting. Then I reloaded and crashed on the street just outside of the train crash (just a few steps after the notifs about the ailments). Then I reloaded again and got through the initial convo with the guys who attacked the lab, and made it maybe a block toward what I assume to be the ghoul town before crashing again.

In fairness, I seem to be getting a little farther each time, but I'm not totally confident that's not just a coincidence. Given that all the crashes happened out in the overworld (not in the lab), I suspect it's some kind of memory usage problem, or perhaps the renderer getting over-taxed and calling it quits.

Either way, there's not a ton I (or anyone) can do until we hear from the devs, most likely, as everyone's already tried the basics like administrator access and low graphics settings. It's probably just the kind of growing pain you get when you don't have access to a ton of unique machines to run tests on (ie; independent developers) compounded by the Creation Engine doing what it does best; shitting itself.
The game stopped crashing for me after I installed the recommended mod Buffout 4 on the downgrader mod page
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4london/mods/1

Buffout 4 on nexus mods

Don't forget to install Buffout 4s dependencies too.
Address Library for F4SE Plugins
and
xSE PluginPreloader F4

I hope this helps you guys too!

Comes with F4SE out of the box. What are you talking about??
Fixed it for now, kind of. Uninstalled my steam copy of the game, then went into that fallout 4 folder and pretty much deleted everything that I didn't need (minus zip/rar files for mods that I downloaded) and did a fresh new install.

Took a few hours on my machine and internet connection. Anyway, booted up the fresh vanilla game, let it load then quit to desktop. After that followed the FOLON install guide to the letter and downgraded the game.

Since I went through Steam to uninstall the game, in the GOG launcher you have to click "verify/repair" the game and it'll redownload the FOLON launcher. Then click update, then install, wait for the game to download and install. Boot up the game either through the F4 launcher or the FOLON one. Still have my save game on the tube train, so waited patiently for that sequence to be over, and low and behold I'm now in London proper!!!

Admittedly I am in low graphics mode as that was the default after launching the vanilla F4 game but I'll tweak the settings and get back to you all if there are problems going forward.

I may have a solution (not sure if this will work for everybody):

I turned off autosaves on travel, and disabled "autosaves in the pip boy every" (or something to that effect).
NO issues since - just played a solid hour without issues.
Couple more quicksteps for those who may, or may not, come up with an F4SE error when you finally get into a game:

1. Download the LATEST version of F4SE either through the official website or through Nexus.
2. Drag & drop it into your main Fallout 4 installation folder.
3. As this is the latest version that's now obsolete by the latest patch you will need to use the FOLON launcher for this, click on it, click on update, and reinstall the mod.
4. Let it install which will take 2-8 minutes depending on your machine but this ALSO downgrades your version of F4SE to a previous version allowing conversations to take place.
5. Boot up the game as normal though you may have to check your video settings again as it will revert them to the lowest quality.
6. Enjoy having Fallout 3 and New Vegas style talking choices from now on.

I am still playing in low quality mode sadly as I'm having graphical glitches but overall nothing CPU melting yet.
It's widely known that FO4 base game has buggy Weapon Shrapnel. Turn that feature OFF.

sadly did not work for me =(

has anyone heard if there will be a patch or should I just get buffout or whatever it's called?

hey, it was worth a shot! Glad you get to play =)
Installing the Buffout 4 mod helped me clear the crashing issues that were happening after getting on the train.

Download from NexusMods and unpack. Copy the following files and folder from the unpacked mod package found in Buffout 4 > F4SE directory:

- Buffout4.dll
- Buffout4_preload
- Buffout4

copy the above files into your GOG > Fallout London > Data > F4SE > plugins directory.

Enjoy!

buffout didn't work either =/

crashes on load every time after the Fallout London logo disappears on the train

guess I'll wait for a patch which will hopefully come

also, all saves are disabled and everything is set to as low as it will go. FO4 runs perfectly fine on my PC so it's def. the mod not my comp
wait, I just added the buffout files to the folder .... was I supposed to delete the original files in there?

did a complete reinstall of everything and finally made it past the train!

I don't know if mashing 'T' helped, but I did that as well
