Not sure if this works but it's worth a try:
The game directory contains TheFall_Data.
Open output_log.txt, there's a resolution line here try changing it.

I doubt that's gonna work, since the name is "output_log". Is there some other config file, named .cfg or somesuch somewhere?

I also looked and did not find a config file. :-(
Already contacted gog support and they said dev will have to fix it; nothing they can do.

Not quite sure if you can add launch options without Steam but you could try this:

Edit: Yup it works!

Just gotta add -force-opengl to the shortcut exe line after the quotes and it allows changing resolution... even though it's funky in that.
