Hello everyone!

I've played Fahrenheit for the very first time some weeks ago and it took me just an afternoon to finish it (good ending).
It was pretty fun yet a bit hard.

Anyway, I've noticied two inside jokes in the game that nobody seems to care about (Google gives me back no results about it).

1/ The police used a Commodore 64
When searching for the police records in the basement, Carla actually type on a Commodore 64.

You can see the keyboard at 3:13 in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDvNdXdNWBI
It's easy to recognise because of the function keys to the right, the isolated space bar and the size of the special keys (shift, enter, etc...)
Here is a photo for comparaison http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9d/Commodore64.jpg

2/ Lame French joke (only when playing in French, of course)
Believe it or not, but it seems that Garrett's name was choosed on purpose to make a dummy, yet popular French joke (remember, the team behind this game is French).
When Carla is at the double murder scene (at the laundromats/landrettes) she first talk to Garrett ending the conversation by "Merci, Garrett" which sounds exactly like... "cigarette".

So here you go, I hope that was seriously instructive :P

If you've found some other weird things or if I'm wrong, just let me know!

interesting little facts. The most suprising thing in your post, however, is that you thought it had a good ending. You're the first person I've met who thinks that.

Hi!
I've checked Wikipedia right after finishing the game, the ending I had was labelled as "Good".
Still it was pretty obvious to me it was the better ending since none of the clans had their hands on the child and since the Lucas's monologue is set on a very paradise-like environment. :)

Ha ha, fun thing ! Did you also notice ? At the beginning of the game, the "murderer" wakes up screaming in his bed and suddenly understand it was not a dream since his bed sheets are full of blood.
Then, a policeman rings his door bell, saying that the neighbours complained about hearing screams in his flat. Did you notice his nametag? G. Abitbol !!

Georges Abitbol is the main character of a parody movie reusing classic movies but slapping altogether different dialogues on them, "Le grand détournement", by Michel Hazanavicius. And Georges Abitbol is deemed "the most classy guy of the world" ^_^

Yes I forgot about that.

I noticied some quotes of "Le Grand Détournement" were also put in the GTA IV French subtitles. The dubbers knows their classics. ;)
And Portal 2 has some nice quotes in the french version, like, again, "le grand détournement" ! ^_^
