Hi,

Do you know any branching storyline games similar to Fahrenheit?

For example, I know Shadow of Memories/Destiny in PC/PS2/Xbox:

Shadow of Memories

Time Hollow in Nintendo DS (little brother of Shadow of Memories )

Time Hollow

And off course, Heavy Rain in PS3 (My dream is a Pc port)

Heavy Rain

Thanks.

Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 are such games where your decisions shape the outcome of the story. They are not adventure games per se, they are more like third-person shooters with rpg elements, yet they are all story-driven games. What's also exciting is that the choices you make in ME1 affect ME2, and the choices you make in ME2 affect ME3. Basically, you take your finished save at the end of ME1, and transfer it at the start of ME2, and you do the same at the end of ME2 to transfer it to ME3. I must say that the Mass Effect games really are some of the best games I have played and can highly recommend them, and are also available for PC.

I am sorry but i have to disagree on Mass effect. Every choice you make in those games dont mean anything in the end as game laughs in your face as ending is just pick a favorite color. Granted game is good but it could have been one of the best games if they havent screwed ME 3 so much(less choices, horrible ending to trilogy and dumbing the games gameplay). imo ME 1 is the best out of 3 for me.

Wow Time Hollow. You just put a smile on my face remembering that. :)
You might like 999 for the DS.

I think they are a hit-or-miss kind of company, with people either hating or loving everything they do pretty consistently. I, for one, regard Fahrenheit as one of the ten worst games that I have ever played, hated what I've seen of Heavy Rain and, judging from what I have read, would almost certainly be disgusted by Beyond: Two Souls if I ever allowed myself to play it. Good for you, though.

Then your dream won't come true since it's a Sony IP and statistics show Sony won't change into a multiplatform publisher anytime soon.
On the DS Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors

On the 3DS there is also the sequel Virtue's Last Reward. The whole concept in the sequel is based on branches.

Mass Effect 1-3 are all great games, most especially Mass Effect 1 and 2. Mass Effect: Andromeda is a low quality game though that is used as a vehicle for shoving SJW content in players' faces.

Looks like you're looking at these games that are falling in categories such as visual novels; cinematic-style adventure games (i.e. like David Cage's games from Quantic Dream); and/or certain adventure games.

Have you tried these titles?

Ones I have played:
- Beyond: Two Souls.
- Neo Cab.
- VTM: Coteries of N.Y.
- Life is Strange
- Life is Strange: Beyond The Storm
- Maniac Mansion (NES and/or PC)

Ones I have not yet played:
- Detroit: Become Human
- The Council
- The Walking Dead series by Telltale
- Game of Thrones by Telltalle
- Batman series by Telltale
- Dry Drowning
- VTM: Shadows of N.Y.
- Life is Strange 2
