The developers announced a price increase on the 16th. Will the price be increasing on GOG as well?

I'm sure It will increase a bit, there Is something normal

It, in fact, went up to $30 today.

I recently got back into it and I have to say I agree.

I backed it on IndieGoGo but stopped playing a few years ago to let development move forward (didn't want to burn myself out on it before the game was finished, like I did with Minecraft).

I've gotten burned out a few times on the game so far, but still keep playing it regardless

The game has really come a long way since I played it last, tons of new tech in the game that I haven't had a chance to try yet.

Definately. Though doing research lab belts is a logistical nightmare now ._.

I can only imagine as I've not got to that stage on my new game yet (old save is too old to load without rolling back many versions now).

In my opinion that game is heavily overpriced costing way too much. And it cost here on GoG more than on steam.

I'm seeing $30.00 on GOG and $30.00 on Steam.

I've played more of it than DOS2, which is more expensive but definitely worth it, so I'd say thay could easily add another £10 to the value and I'd still buy it again.

I`m seeing in polish PLN on steam 70.00 PLN and 110.89 PLN on GoG.

Same here, but I keep coming back. Haven't played in many months again but I kept up on the FFFs, and am very much looking forward to getting started with that as soon as it launches ^^

Why Factorio on GOG costs over 60% more than on Steam?! :O
