This is the first time I've saw this game,
Therefore, I would like to know if anyone has played it and has an opinion on it? It looks quite nice and interesting, but does it have much depth, replayablity and namely, is it easy to get into. (If I'm going to get something hard - I'll stick with Battlecruiser/Universal Combat ;) )
I've bought it and for now I'm little disappointed. The game runs smoothly but only when you see the sky in the HUD. If you point the nose to the ground it will suffer great fps loss. Also at external view you will see slideshow. I don't know what is causing this. I'll try to find out.

Turn off vsync. and turn down your sound and graphic accelerators. Or download SpeedswitchXP and set it to 'Battery'. it will make your PC think it's a one core 1ghz machine! :) I got it because I heard it got Outcast by Infogrammes working, and it did. But It also helps other older games I have too. It beneficial for those late 90's win98 games. It's freeware, so there's no harm trying it! :)

I like it, then again I like any flying/combat sim anyway. I think it does have the depth it needs as far as controls and realism, it's no Falcon 4.0 to be sure but it's worth it for money.
My favorite has been EuroFighter 2000 (can't seem to find a copy of it anywhere) ... I hope you guys get it, it's really not as bad as your might think, remember the graphics of course are dated, but what retro game isn't :)

I do wonder who the market is for this now? I remember it, and I remember enjoying it - but I doubt it's aged well. Especially in the era of Falcon 4 et al. I think it's good they have it in their catalogue but they should be trying to get more games like F-22 Total Air War. Novalogic have a good back catalogue as well. Dunno, this just seems an odd choice.
I was a big fan of Tornado >:D
The game looks ok and plays well, the only issue I have with it is that the game invariably freezes after 8-12 minutes after entering the cockpit.
If I don't terminate it before, say, 40 seconds have passed after the freeze, the entire system will lock up.
Gave up on it in january, but gave it another shot today (did a format a few weeks ago, figured that might have done something to help) with different drivers.
Nothing seems to help, haven't tried using a virtual pc with an older OS though (using XP).
Reported to GOG, but they can't seem to reproduce it, just bad luck with my hardware, I guess.
So anyone with a similar rig to mine might want to be careful:
MB: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD MS-7100
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 4400+
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT
Soundcard: Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit
The Mission Planner in Tornado TDO, was the best, and still is in my opinion.
A bunch of us from the GENIE network were doing PBEM games with TDO. It was a great simulation.
