Hello!
Since I have always read that the translation for this game is comically awful, I was wonderin if the translation mod would actually be a good place to start for a first player.
Anyone of you used it already? Could you share some opinions in purpose?
I think the first comment on your link tells you everything you need to know. It's more the concepts of the game are hard to follow and less about translation jank. Just enjoy it for what it is and the flavor the whole experience combines into.

Also, I've never once seen anyone get stuck in game because of translation errors so I'm not sure what they're referring to there..

I heard basically everything about this game and its translations, from "best ever" to "absolutely awful" and everything in between.
I guess I'll simply start and see by myself then, but if anybody is an "EYE connoisseur" I'd still appreciate more opinions.

Thanks for yours, btw. :)
Has anyone actually tried running that Text Revamp mod with GOG's version of the game? I replaced the original resource folder with modded one and it caused a good bunch of textx to revert to their #CLASSNAME values. Mod still works with Steam version so I am not sure what is different between them exactly, unless I'm just too stupid.
