The files haven't changed yet but probably soon.
Looks to me like they're planning to inject Galaxy into everything soon and dropping support in the off-line installers left and right because of the broken compatibilities that are caused by it (see New Vegas).

Ffs, at this point, Steam has better/more WinXP support than "The dealer formerly known as Good old Games".
It's just a matter of time when they'll break WINE compatibilities too yet again.

Be cautious before downloading updated installers, keep the old ones safe.

Wait so they've definitely started doing this now? WHY!?

The only thing I can think of that makes even a lick of sense is if they did it so that they could inject "achievements" into the games - but I'm sure I'm not alone in not caring, and if I did I would connect it to Galaxy.

I can understand dropping XP support though - technically Microsoft dropped support of XP years ago after all...

OK that's a good point - especially if the games already have XP support at retail, then there's definitely no call to remove that support by adding code that causes it to no longer function on XP.

While I appreciate GOG adding support for other OSes, they could do this with alternative installers as opposed to replacing the only installer for the game!
