Greetings fellow gogers!

I'm kinda stuck with the quest Sacrifice.

I got 10 days left to find that blasted Carib sacrificial altar and I got some serious problems to find it!
I searched like a madman the mountains North West of Santo Domingo without success...

If a gentle soul could mark it on a map screenshot, or describe its precise location for me, that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!
The description might have been a little misleading: the altar (at least in my game - I don't know if there are other places it can appear) is in the northwest area of the map, not just NW of the city. The route I took was to follow the northern coast westward from the 'fishing village' and explore up the trails that head south into the long mountain range just above that coastline. You should get an icon showing on your map when you get close.
Yeah, it's up near the northern coast, in a general NW direction from Santo Domingo.
Like they said. Don't waste your time going from the south. Trees and mountains block the way. Easiest way from the coast. And if you get close, check your map for "settlement", because that's what the game calls it for some reason.

If you've explored past the mines, you should notice there is a line of mountains just to the south of the north coast of the island. The Carib village is about in the middle of it.

Do note that if you want an easy time on this quest, you can start heading up the NW road toward the mine right after you report to the governor, which means that when the event occurs you'll already be well on the way to the sacrificial site.
By doing that the second time (after I failed to locate the site in time the first time) I was able to rescue Isabela in 2 days.
Thanks a lot guys!

Finally found it thanks to your explanations! As you said Garran, I misread the quest description.
It is a real pain to find. i had explored the area already and thus knew where it was, but it still took quite a bit to get there - really not a very accessible location :)
It's expired in my game. I spent too much time wander around :))
It mean i can't get back my isabella :( could someone post the map or exactly location
Ps: just found out in this game we can't screenshot the map :)) my advice is found the location first, then trigger the quest later

You can take screenshots in the game with "F10", unless you've rebound it. The screenshots are saved in "Documents/My Games/Expeditions Conquistador/Screenshots".
