Dear devs, don't abandon your fans here, on GOG. Set up an update!

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Okay, my bad. It's been updated already, but no "updated" in library appeared. It's just confusing.
Thanks!

Thank you for updating your post!
I'm a bit paranoid after the history with Wolcen which started in absolutely same manner and ended in having it removed from GOG store.
Now I see that it still lives...

Thanks for the information. I was going to buy this, but wanted to make sure GOG had the newest version before I did. Glad to see that the devs haven't forgotten about us.
Actually, the recent update is 0.8.1.5 Beta...

Which is not what we have in the GOG version.
Please, how do you check a game's version ?

Click on the game in your owned/installed games, then the options button (far right at the top, looks like a couple of sliders), and then "Patch Notes".

These are not always updated on time, but are usually close.

Additionally, GoG really NEEDS to get their patching timeliness in line. It is lagging FAR behind every other platform.

For anything that has a multiplayer component, this will cost them sales in the future, it not already.

If you set the game into beta branch you can get current beta version which is 0.8.1.7c which is pretty much current actual build. You can do this by going into your library, selecting Exanima, going top right menu button next to install/play -> Manage Installation -> Configure... -> and then set Beta channel to Beta.

Don't see new patch notes there and dunno if they have been updated by the developer since few years back. Would be great if developer communicated a bit more on the platforms, but oh well.

Cheers. That wasn't selectable a few weeks ago! Thanks.
Are game abandoned by Devs?

no, there has been multiple updates over the last couple months through Steam.
8.3.0o was just released about a week ago.

whether GOG itself doesn't release the updates or they have trouble getting this data from the developer i couldn't tell you.

Good to know that Devs didn't abandon such an interesting game (at least I can say that about fighting mechanics). Are there any news on when the game will receive full release version?

you'd have to keep an eye on Sui Generis forums at Steam or the Bare Mettle home site.

Exanima was originally just the prologue for Sui Generis but they eventually released it as a stand-alone for easier user troubleshooting and development.

the main game looks very awesome through the screenshots they've released plus imaging it using the Exanima play style.
definitely one my most anticipated games for quite some time.
