Madoc (Project Lead) posted a few days ago the update and release notes of a new patch.

This patch is already available for people who purchase the game by other means.

I own several other games here in GOG and the updates are within reasonable time frames.

However, Exanima is the exception, behind on several patches, and the "beta" channels that could offer some workaround are not implemented or being used at all. I understand that patching in GOG is not famous for its speedy process.

Getting in to the point, is the Patch to 0.6.5.2 arriving to GOG?
I was thinking the same thing. Been following the progress of the game on Bare Mettle forums and looks like it has gotten a couple of patches in between as well.

I suppose getting the patch on GOG depends on Bare Mettle. Seeing that the couple of patches in between were smaller in nature, I hope this larger patch will make its way to GOG. :)
I really hope they rollout the updates here soon. If nothing else, the latest ones add good quality of life features for the practice arena. Being able to click 'restart' when you die instead of being sent back to the main menu saves time and eliminates this frustration.
I think that's the last game I bought on GOG. Updates are always lagging behind all other destibution platforms... Sometimes it takes months or years to roll out update, sometimes there are no updates at all for five years old games.

That's ridiculous!

P.S. Linux versions of games also often don't come there at all.
The Update is Here!!!

Thank you GOG.
Thank you Bare Mettle.

Thank you GOG.
Thank you Bare Mettle.
Why thank them?

They are doing lousy job at updating the game, and I seriously feel that GOG don't care about us, so, no thanks from my side. They got their money from me, but next time, I'll think hard before buying anything (that's not old game) from GOG. I hope they improve this service tho.
Thank you Bare Mettle! :) I love your work.

They are doing a really good job of updating Exanima.
I don't think people realise how much work a game like this is for such a small team of developers. Especially one that has such a complicated physics system in play.
Innovation like this takes time!

Its often good to tell someone that what they did is what you expected saying thanks.
It is also good to tell them what they do do not fulfill your expectatives by complaining.
Both are not mutually exclusive.

Yes, this is true.
My comment was more aimed at GOG than to Bare Mantle, since they do update game more regulary on other platforms, and I do like the game itself, it's just frustrating that GOG version often lags behind.

It isn't GOG's fault. Blame the developers. Do you really want to support developers with such horrible business practices and contempt for their supporters?
