Hi,

I noticed Exanima 6.4.3 has been released on Steam.
Please don't forget Gog.

Bare Mettle hasn't forgotten GoG. The devs must submit the patch to GoG who then uploads it to the site. Bare Mettle can't do it themselves otherwise the patch would already be available on GoG.
If I'm not mistaken the update was up on Steam 5 days ago. Pretty disappointed in GOG if it takes them this long to approve an update.

It's possible that Bare Mettle are working on adding the remaining features to the patch before submitting it to GoG. The Steam patch was released in an unfinished state; it was missing some rather important features (such as ceilings in order to prevent ogres from tossing you over the walls to your death).

If you'd like I can ask Madoc about more specifics concerning the GoG patch release but it should be soon.
I'm also interested in the ETA of this patch :)
I would be very grateful if you could shed some light on this situation.

No need, if it's delayed for polishing purposes that's fair enough.
We submitted the update to GOG on Monday, I believe it may be taking this long because they do their own testing before making it available.

Thank you very much for the reply :)

Well, I do not doubt that any patch might contain stuff that makes the game better, but: I would dearly like to see some kind of list of the things that change with each patch.
Additionally it would be nice for us to know if the patch in question is adding content, or if it is more of a bug fix.

EDIT:

Please, forget about the above.
Just been on the site (Bare Mettle) and have seen the description of the update - thanx a lot!

From the looks of it I guess I will start a new one from scratch - but: this makes the update here on GOG even more important!
So, GOG - could you go on with it? Now?

Thanks for the heads up! The overhauled animations look amazing. And I can't wait to fight the new ogre boss!

GOG needs to hurry the ffffffff... up!
From the "Games in developement" FAQ, here on GOG:

>>>> " How often will the games be updated?
This is always up to the developer, but we're working closely with all of our partners to deliver all patches in a timely manner." <<<<

"Timely manner"?

Is this a matter of us asking nicely for something that the developers already have provided days ago?
I see the issue here as some kind of a contract between me and GOG:

I paid the price for some goods that GOG promised to actualize whenever an update would come along.
What is missing is a definition of said "timely manner", but I guess that five days will be more then sufficient time to put even larger updates on line?

So, back to this contract: I fulfilled my part - what about you, GOG?
Damn, still nothing? Why? We shouldn't have to wait that long...
Not i good update politics from gog, the next game i will buy again over steam.
It's been almost a week now... Should we contact GOG support?

Chances are it will be uploaded on Monday, I'd assume most of their staff won't work over the weekend.
