Hey there!

I just bought Exanima, downloaded it and installed it.

Now Avira Free Antivirus detected smth in Exanima.exe:

Name

HEUR/APC (Cloud)

Entdeckt am

09.11.2015

Is this normal and a known probem? By now I clicked "Ignore" and played on, I just wanted everyone (and maybe the DEV) know.

Best regards!

I've never had my virus scanner detect issues with Exanima (but I use Bit Defender and not Avira). It's likely your virus scanner giving a false positive.
I had the same issue.

Also using Avira or a different scanner?
I'm also using Alvira, got a warning that it might contain hazardous files. Just ignored it for now.
Hey freakie1one and junker154!

I ignored it, too. Then I went and made Avira look over the whole Exanima folder again. Nothing detected.

I went to Virustotal, loaded up the file and 0/56 did detect anything. Not even Avira. Strange.

Yes, I'm fairly certain it's just Avira giving a false positive. Nothing to be concerned about :).

Antivirus is trying to warn you before its too late, exanima is a virus that steals all your free time!
