Hello,

Posting a heads up on this bug. Have happily been playing, great game btw, and am on the Scraps mission on Nephtys Plains. Finished a quick side job to clear a minefield and flew back to Nephtys to repair and restock. As soon as I arrive ata the planet, the games FPS grinds to a massive halt making the game unplayable. During this, I can push ESC and the menus operate at normal speed. If I load a previous save, everything is okay, issue is isolated to Nephtys Plains.

Anyway I can upload my savefile so you guys can look into it?

Yeah, please send your save game over to ingmar@rockfishgames.com
I assume that there might be an issue with spawning frighters, but would love to double check this.
Thanks.

Checked a few places on my system and not finding where the save file is stored. Would you be able to provide the default file path for the save file?

Hi adbueno,

Sorry that I forgot to provide the info where saves are stored. But here we go:

Save files are stored in C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\ES2\Saved\SaveGames\
You can identify them by date. The date in the file name corresponds to the date shown in the games UI.
For each save file exists a preview file that is needed as well.

You can also backup the whole save folder to your disk using the Galaxy client.
If you go to ES2 in your library, you'll find an option to backup your saves find under 'extra'.
If you use this option a download will be queued in the download section of the client.
You can find the path were the backups were saved to from the download section after the download has finished.

Again thanks for helping us making this game the best in possibly be!

Best Regards,
Ingmar
Sent to you sir/ma'am.

Thanks for your effort! The issue should be fixed in our latest experimental build, that is currently under review. Once we consider is stable, we will also release this build on GOG... so stay tuned and circle back with feedback if you are still having problems with the new version.

Best regards,
Ingmar
