Well I am having a lot of fun with the game so far, and I thought maybe considering the broad appeal this game seems to have, there would be a lot of information online about strategies, tips for novices and such. But apparently everything you can find nowadays is related to the last installment of the game (EU4), and nothing about the first one.

Can anyone point me to a good source of info? specifically I am looking for something like this: http://www.eu4wiki.com/Beginner%27s_guide

Old AARs, if you can find any! If you're looking for a beginner's guide, you might want to try one for EU2 or FtG - I know these exist (tell me if you're having trouble finding one), and they're close enough that you'll get the main points even if some new systems have been added/changed.

For all such things, the Paradox fora are your best bet. You may want to register in order to see older topics.
