Why on earth call an in-complete collection complete?

Personally I expect better from GOG

Because it was named like that when it came out. I bought the box at the time, and the release of the Heir to the Throne expansion came as a surprise.

However I still agree with you, it was a mistake that should have been corrected for a loooong time now, and the game should not even be sold in two parts.

Yes I remeber the 'Complete' edition from Paradox and the release of subsequent expansions

I agree, at this point the old version should be renamed (I know that's what it was called at release, but it's not as though collections haven't been renamed before), or quite frankly the entire thing should just be sold as Chronicles with all the DLC included in the first place. I can't imagine it would eat into the sales of EUIV any more than this already does.
