Well I'm about half way through Book III and whilst finding it fun, it is also somewhat frustrating. It seems to me more 'hardcore' than the other two, by which I mean there is no hand holding in this game. It is very easy to stumble into a new area and have your backside handed to you on a plate. That is not a bad thing but it does get a bit wearing at times especially when a few of the quests areas aren't accessible until later on in the game meaning you have to trail around looking for ways into them. That's when the trouble starts! Or of course it could be that my Mage just sucks! ;)

Having said all that, it is a good game and I am having a lot of fun with it but it is lacking 'something' that the other two games had and I can't quite put my finger on what. I'd say it's well worth getting the series as they offer a lot of game play and at the current price you do get a lot of bang for your buck.

It's probably too late now as this thread is almost a couple of weeks old now but overall I say 'go for it' and get them :)
