Hey guys.
I just want to know if I need to install EECH to the same folder as EEAH. After installing EECH today, I noticed that I can't select any free flight missions, or campaigns from the EEAH maps, Cuba, and the other three.
Also my joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D Pro), is acting like it's not calibrated when in the game.
Any ideas?
I too am interested. Grabbed both of these as they came out, but haven't had the willpower to learn a new sim yet (need to get in the mood), and was wondering what we had to do to be able to play the EEAH stuff in EECH.
I think so, yes. At least that was the case with the CD version of the game(s).
Also, if you can, grab the allMods file, along with the latest patch (1.12). It greatly enhances the game.
I'm having problems with this as well I didn't get my version of EEAH from GOG.
My folders look like this:
F:\Program Files\Empire Interactive
Apache Havoc
Enemy Engaged RAH66 Comanche Vs KA-52 Hokum
is that how it should be? or do I need to combine them?
I'd also like to know what's the optimal install method (I have both games), especially now that there is a 1.12 patch and an "allMods" package available.
Should I install them both in the same directory, or does EECH automatically know how to look for the older UUAH stuff? Is the 1.12 patch compatible and installable on top of those? What about this "allMods" package?
Slightly confused, here :}
EEAH and EECH should have the same parent directory.
Originally they would by default be Program Files\Razorworks\cohokum and Program Files\Razorworks\aphavoc.
But the exact directory names shouldn't matter, as long as they are in the same directory.
allMods or EECH 1.12 are to be installed afterwards (allMods includes EECH 1.12 so you don't need to install separately if you install allMods).

Hi guys.
Sorry to have to resurrect a dead thread here (there have been no new posts in two months), but the original question was never answered.
How do I install both EEAH and EECH into the same directory so I can get the two games to play nice together? Now, bear in mind; I'm not a very computer savvy person, so if someone can tell me how to do this in plain english, I would be very grateful.
Also, what exactly is the allMods patch I've heard mention of, where do I get it, and how do install it?
Any help on this would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks guys.

This is site with mod: http://www.eechcentral.com/ . For first part of your question, I'm now downloading games and checking...
As for the merging theese games, it's easy. You install AvH, then cvH but you install it IN AvH folder! For example first game is installed at c:\Program Files\gog.com\Apache vs Havoc. When you installing Comanche vs Hokum under Options button and destination path click Browse and choose AvH installation folder as in example above, when you back to options window now destination patch should look like this: c:\Program Files\gog.com\Apache vs Havoc\Comanche vs Hokum and this how it should stay.
When both games are installed launch Apache vs Havoc, wait for 'first time graphic conversion' and initialization, then you may exit game. Run Comanche vs Hokum and voila!
And final word for allMods patch 1.12. It works of course with gog.com versions of games, what's better it detects Comanche vs Hokum installation folder so all you have to do is one click...

That didn't work for me. I tried it and it failed to detect EEAH when I ran EECH.

You're talking about the mods or our versions of those games?

If so than there is no EEAH detection tool. Firs you have to install EEAH. By default it will install into:
C:\Program Files\GOG.com\Enemy Engaged - Apache vs Havoc
After doing so install EECH into the same catalogue as EEAH. By default EECH will install into :
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Enemy Engaged RAH66 Comanche Vs KA-52 Hokum
so you'll have to change that to:
C:\Program Files\GOG.com\Enemy Engaged - Apache vs Havoc
After that you'll be able to play EEAH campains with EECH.
