the new side mission system is top notch stuff, atleast for someone that gets sidetracked easy like me, it seems to trigger wherever it detets things it could do better and makes it a priority or a "hey, check this, theres and idea"

i feel it can be extended a bit crossing it with the expedition center, or maybe the radio tower thing, for maybe trade outside the map? but these are but mere ideas

in short, i enjoy the system, please keep it up

I don't know if there will be trade. But this is something we can think of in the future, since we planned different things for now. At least it's nothing you mentioned first, so there are some people that think some possibility to trade would be nice. :)
I support some form of trade, or whatever solution the devs prefer.

Especially to boost certain resources that run out quickly, while you have plenty of other expensive stuff. For instance, I have <300 cloth but 1000 circuits. I quite liked the merchant boat in Banished. We already have a form of trade like with expeditioners that need something and give you other stuff in return, but it helps if you have more choice in what you can trade for. If you want to keep the difficulty curve you could also make important seeds available by trade only, so you'd have to fulfil an 'expensive' trade deal to acquire it, but you could at least use some of the resources that you have plenty of. Just a thought.
