i got a big problem with my mouse in the game. in menu ect. it works fine but if i want to play the turning and looking with the mouse is messed up. its like they wont turn and flips back to the last position i just looked at or jumps way more than i want to look. its similar to multiplayer games if the got lag problems, you move and jump back. its difficult to explain, but i hope somebody can help.

nobody any idea, what could cause this problem. the curious thing is. i played it a few month ago, as i installed it from a friend and it works perfect. since then the hardware doesn't chance. ok the drivers for my graphic card. it looks also something ist double assigned. when i turn left and right, the char moves faster. if i only use the keyboard, the game moves smooth. i looked at every config file and also googled, but no help.

Try to turn off the UAC (User Control Prefence) if you are on Windows 7/Vista or run as administrator

UAC is off since i have installed Vista64bit. Also tried every variation of as Admin + compatibility. nothing works. i have no idea what causes this problem. its also the only game this happens. all other games works perfekt, even old games like Thief 2 works better than Enclave... greatfully i bought Enclave on the Summer event, so i dont lost that much money...

It's a silly question, but did you try reinstall the game?

Also, is your mouse a specific mouse or jjust a General USB Mouse?

FIX # 1

Go Into Control Panel
Switch to classic view
Double click mouse
Go into pointer options submenu
Select or Unselect Enhance Pointer Precision


FIX # 2

Right click on desktop
Select Nvidia Control Panel
Go to Mange 3D Settings
For display mode make sure it says Single Display Performance Mode if your using a single display

like i said before. the cd version of a friend works 100%. no speed issue, no mouse issue, ect.

i tried everything i can imagine and i am going to think the problem is 100% this game or its version. i searched for an update or fanpatch but got no luck.

I think the game is already patched to the lastest version... I think...

Strange... This is the first time i ever hear of this kind of problem in this game.

Do your mouse when you plug in install any programs that help him or give him some new functions? Try to disable/exit this program before playing.

before i installed the new mousedriver windows uses a standart usb mouse. i also tried with this configuration and it doesnt help.

Today i tried to make a video of this problem with fraps. after i start the record, the mouseproblem was gone and i thought what the heck. so i stopped the record and see, mouse doesnt work again....

WHAT THE HELL!? I don't know now what is the problem. Do you have to play with FRAPS on? The problem is in the video? CPU? I have no ideia.... Try to play wioth Fraps on, at least sounds like a solution

i also running out of solutions. but playing with fraps is not a solution, cause it records still video and loads my hdd until its full :). i contacted gog and send my dxdiag. hope they can help.

edit:
i took a closer look on all *.cfg files. at Enclave\Sbz1\User.cfg i found a line "NOPREDICT=0" and set it to 1. After starting the game i plays very slightly better, now i can look around without this "lagging", but still if i fight or run at the same time i move my mouse the character moves like he is on drugs. runs way to fast or runs on its own, when i take my hands of the controls and mouse. so that there is no misunderstanding, the hole game runs on perfect speed, its the char you play who messes all up at looking and turning around with the mouse.

i also tried the "SYNC=0" line and set to 1, but there it gets stuck on the level loading screen oder screen goes black, so i turned it back to 0.

What the hell? So you must change things directily in the game to make it work? How can this be possible?

Try to change ingam the Mouse Sensitiveness now. Maybe that helps.

Wiggle the mouse really fast and the animation will glitch and you will do everything extremely fast.
Because of how cool the glitch is, I think any patch that fixes this should be Optional.
