I´m having problems to run the Game on my Windows 10 PC.

Everytime I start it it just minimize.
When i click the icon in the taskbar or alt+tab in it just flashes a few times and goes back into the task bar.

I tried comp modes and admin but nothing works so far.

Any advice?

Me too... Its getting quite aggrivating. But still playable.

I wish i could help but for me it plays well and then on occasion for a split second it tabs out then tabs back in and the game runs just fine. still i think it might be in the coding or something this game is rather old but still fun.

No its the first one and the expansion for that matter. Its been getting worse for me. The closest thing ive found in my search search is for ee 2. Nothing for empire earth except really outdated material.

Sorry, I don't know much about EE1 :(

Maybe you could try disabling Fullscreen optimizations:
- Click the right mouse button on the game icon
- Click Properties
- Go to the Compatibility tab
- Check: "Disable fullscreen optimizations"
- "Apply" / "OK".

Late to the party, but I have the same issue with The Art of Conquest. The game ran fine for 20+ hours, but now it just keeps minimising itself.
