smuggly: I found my problem with the game . I'm on win 10 latest version all updated. With a few of these old games I have to turn off rivatuner and MSI afterburner and then it launches with no other treatment. It's just rivatuner I think though. I had the same problem with Sacred 2. Just a heads up to people what worked for me.

I tested it is just rivatuner.

This era in games was a really good time. They made some good games. The models all look the same from then. But they knew how to do game play.
