Rock Counter is an Alchemy item which shows how much solid rock walls is on the current dungeon floor. I used it to see if I missed any secret passages. When I checked Caves of Tsun-Kurn, it worked fine, but in "Guatella Grotto B1F" it shows me that there are no solid stone walls.

Does this rock counter refuse to work there because of specific gimmick, or there are actually sets of secret passages with teleporters all around on that floor?

It's possible that the unreachable areas might consist entirely of no-teleport squares instead of solid rock. This would prevent random teleports sending you into solid rock.

Teleport trap isn't existent on chests on this dungeon floor. You didn't look into trying to put map file into readable maps? I wrote about its structure in 3DS thread (6400 bytes per floor, 16 bytes per square). I might check it myself later on, solid blocks should have same bytes (actually solid blocks might give good hints on layout of maps in their respective sections).
Can't you cause random teleport by casting diomente during combat?

I never tried that (I usually use Mahamaha if I need to run).

i think the best way to find it out is to analyze map file. Should be easy to do (because map file looks plain and simple), it just takes away from game time XD If only I had all time in the world.
