rayres2007: Is it always safe to sell "junk" items? For example a star fragments?

Fragments are always safe to sell. According to the Japanese wiki, certain items can appear in the store if you sell 100 of the same fragment.
Also, you should never be afraid of selling items in this game. You will always be able to buy it back from the shop.
rayres2007: If I make a bunch of armours with resistances, do they stack? What is the cap?

Like resistances do not stack. They don't even stack with racial resistances.
100% resistance is enough to nullify the attack.
The cap on status resistance is at least 99% (I have a Pinpoint Shield with 99% behead resistance), but is probably 100%.
