With the last update, consuming elex potions will get you more "cold" (sorry, not sure that it is correct translation to English). I'm playing as a berserker mage and there is a decent power-up for mages being emotional.

So, any tips and tricks how to maintain low level of "coldness", while using a lot of elex potions?

I haven't confirmed this but I think the bonus from the skill Emotional is a 5-10% duration bonus to magic/psi/chem buffs.

I also believe that "0-20 Cold" refers to the "Irrational" Cold status, but it possibly extends into the "Intuitive" stage.

As far as I know, the ONLY way to lower Cold is through specific non-repeatable dialogue choices. This makes maintaining low Cold WAY harder than getting high Cold.

Good luck!
yes be more of a pussy and lick ppl boots in dialogues, you'r cold will decrease, but since ranged weapons are really awesome in this game higher cold is best to have, for extra range dmg.

Definitely wrong, losing cold requires you to threaten people and get angry more.

It's actually one of the reasons I like the system in this game, you don't have to be buddy-buddy or hostile in every scenario, there's some flexibility.
