Is there any mods similar to ECWolf or ZDOOM that I can install onto Daggerfall? I really liked how those mods retained the same graphics while improving the play experience A LOT. Is there anything like these mods for Daggerfall?

Sort of. There's the DaggerXL project but it's not finished. It's been in development forever too, but apparently is not abandoned. He's also making the engine work with Dark Forces and Blood.

I tried once Dark Forces with the DarkXL Engine. The Cutscenes were not working well. For atmosphere purpose I skipped the engine and stayed with DOSBox. Unfortunately I have not found a way to play Dark Forces Mods within the DarkXL Engine. The engine was really good, had nice graphics and mouse support. But the cutscene thing killed unfortunately the engine for me.

Don't know how Daggerfall will work.
