Just curious, I removed the cc datafiles from /Data

In game they are still listed as "Installed Content"

Why is that?

You need to remove both the bsa esm & esl files from data, as well as the skyrim.ccc file in the main folder.

Yes, I removed all the cc prefixed files, both .esm and .bsa and I had removed skyrim.ccc also. I thought that should do it but all the CC content is still listed as Installed Content.

Then I don't know.
I just removed those 9 files and they no longer show as installed content.
