Gilozard: Graphics and Sound Overhaul, which merges 100s of graphics and sound mods into a coherent, easy to use installer.
Download from http://www.ornitocopter.net/v3-0-release/
Hello, thanks for your excellent post. I've had a search but I can't seem to find an answer - Morrowind vanilla would run from integrated graphics on an i5, my assumption is the GSO would need an actual graphics card to run? What do you think? -Thank you.

Maybe? The more recent integrated graphics are pretty good. Also, it's not like even Morrowind with updated textures and models requires the kind of computing resources as the latest AAA games.

If you have one of the last 3 Intel chip generations I'd try installing the MGSO but turning the settings down. Just having updated models and textures makes a world of difference. My guess is that turning down the draw distance and picking less demanding options should work.

tinyE: MGSO seems to be conflicting with MADD.

I really like the graphics enhancement of MGSO (and for some reason it doesn't slow my system down as much as some of the other graphics mods) so does anyone one have any ideas for a leveling Mod that wouldn't conflict with it?

EDIT:
MADD seems to conflict with EVERYTHING! :P
Never tried MADD. Have you tried doing a leveled lists merge?

Other than that, I got nothing.

I haven't played it much since I made that post.

Thanks for this. In the end I bit the bullet and just tried it, it does indeed work, even with the second PC speed setting, but just a touch juddery. On the 'slow PC' setting it's smooth but just a bit dark and blocky. But it runs very smoothly.

Thanks for the help.

I made a leveller mod for MW some times ago, you can try it

I can wholeheartedly recommend Julan, Ashlander Companion.

An ashlander companion. He is very well written and feels like an actual friend and true companion, instead of just a "random guy following you".
He has thousands of dialogue lines. He will comment on the weather, the place you're at, the quests you're doing, your armor, books you're carrying, some other mods you have installed, everything.
He never gets stuck in the eviroment, because if he does get stuck somewhere, he will "teleport" after you. He can levitate, use teleport spells, breath in- and walk on water.

He can be found at Ghostgate, getting his ass kicked by three clannfears. Save him, and even though at first he will be rude as hell, he will eventually ask you to train him. If you allow him to tag along, he will drag you into his own crazy adventure. His personal quest is strongly tied to the main quest. You can no longer recruit him once you have completed the quest "Vivec informant". The main quest itself is untouched, but Julan gives a whole new "perspective" of it. :)
Warning: His good behavoiur is not granted. He will get drunk, laugh at your choice of attire, and be rude and secretive with you at first.... but he will slowly open up, and gradually gets more friendly as his quest and the main quest progresses.

Seriously, he has a boatload of features, quests, dialogues etc, so if you're starting Morrwind again and feel lonely, grab him.
Personally, I can't play without him anymore :)

Juniper's Twin Lamps or Nevena's?

I've only ever gone through Juniper's and liked it. But is Nevena better?
Anyone know of any conflicts with Children of Morrowind? I want this mod but do not want to mess up my game I have already modded with rebirth and rebuilt. I am new at adding mods. I barely was able to get them to work and at level 34 I don't want to lose my game either.

Jasmine is a great companion mod. I also like Constance, the thief companion. Morrowind Rebirth of course.

Morrowind Texture Pack - MWTP. I prefer this one. Easy install with no conflicts or problems.

Morrowind comes Alive.

Those are the main one's for me. I have gobs more on it.

For that any that may be interested, Morrowind Crafting version 3.0 is currently in the later stages of development; an alpha release has been posted at NexusMods, and the Beta release is nearing its posting time. There is a channel dedicated to Morrowind Crafting in Discord under "Morrowind Modding Community"; much new content, compatible with Tamriel Rebuilt, using MWSE scripting for easy-to-use menus and drastically-enhanced versatility. Many screenshots are available; come have a look!

Gilozard: Quests and Factions

Rise of House Telvanni - http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/27545
Adds quests for the Telvanni Archmagister, allowing him/her to gain more political power and strengthen House Telvanni. During RoHT's main quest, the player will decide on House Telvanni's stance towards the Mages Guild and the Twin Lamps, infiltrate the East Empire Company, and shake Vvardenfell's politics to the core.
Most quests can be played in different styles. Depending on the player's decisions, House Telvanni will gain anything between one and four new strongholds. It is up to the player if House Telvanni rises to political predominance or passes up its opportunities.
i didn't know where to post this but, i'm a huge advocate for OpenMW -

OpenMW is a free, open source, and modern engine which re-implements and extends the 2002 Gamebryo engine for the open-world role-playing game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

u can get it here - https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw/releases/latest scroll down a bit and choose a package

alternatively the site is here - https://openmw.org/en/ - just navigate to the "downloads" tab, also
i recommend taking a look at the FAQ to answer any questions you might have and more

a guide to modding with OpenMW - https://modding-openmw.com - it's also a mod list

zaric made a video on the project, i highly recommend it - https://youtu.be/JR3E4Z3fqxw

diamond_Inquisitor: ... i recommend taking a look at the FAQ to answer any questions you might have and more ...
I support the advice to read the FAQ of OpenMW. A few main points:
- OpenMW is not a mod in the normal sense, but it's an engine using the Morrowind files.
- OpenMW is still alpha. It contains most but not (yet) all features of Morrowind.
- OpenMW requires and uses, but doesn't change the original Morrowind. This means installing OpenMW doesn't present a risk for your current Morrowind installation and configuration, including mods.
- There is no guarantee that existing Morrowind mods are compatible with OpenMW. For example, MCP, MGE and MWSE are unlikely to work (which probably means that they can't be installed when you want to use OpenMW).

Bearing these points in mind, OpenMW is a great experience!
