Found the Puzzle Box. But also a lot of brass.
It brings in a lot of cash.

I was attacked twice by assassins on one night and that was lot of cash; now the dwarf mines.
I know the answer is "just don't take it" but if you sell all this brass and buy a couple levels, does it break the game? Or maybe that is what you are suppose to do?

The extra cash from the assassins and various loot you can find in dungeons can help early on, but beyond enchantments and skill training there's not really a lot to spend money on. And a couple of thousand gold isn't reall that much anyway, even if it seems like it in the beginning.

Also, Dwemer Cogs etc. tend to weigh a lot compared to their sale value. Sure you could take several trips and strip a dungeon bare of all the heavy stuff, but you'll probably get money faster if you just take the stuff that has the best gold/weight ratio and then progress to the next quest/dungeon/whatever.

If your big worry is buying some new clothes, you're likely very far off from even remotely breaking the few things that can be messed with using gold. Later on your biggest worry will be finding a merchant who has enough money to pay you for your loot. Your second biggest worry will be finding something to spend that money on.

The Scamp in Caldera has been the best bet so far for off loading it.
