I am on Gamefaqs and see something about a Z folder, can't find one.

I haven't played Daggerfall and used the cheats in some time, but that sounds like what I've done in the past.
/e: If the z.cfg file is hidden, then you'll need to modify your folder properties in Windows to show hidden files and folders. Go to your run bar and type "folder" to bring up the folder options. Just keep in mind that some files are hidden so that people are less likely to accidently delete or edit an important file.
