For anyone who is interested, I like the mod KS Hairdos - HDT SMP (Physics), which requires HDT-SMP(Skinned Mesh Physics) which probably will never be updated for the GOG version.
Use instead this mod: FSMP - Faster HDT-SMP. Here is the link to the GOG version of this mod

I have only tested it on the KS Hair physics as I do not use any other jiggle mods
I can confirm that this works, thanks. Physics is very important in Skyrim for... physics-y things.

Virustotal flags this (1/90 but still) as infected

The same can be said for the file uploaded to Nexus in January 2022 (2/55 ... trojan/bitminer) - you can click the green checkmark to see the virustotal report:

Unsigned files will almost always be flagged: if there is no valid digital signature, it's not possible to know which company modified it, so it is possible that the file may be malicious - but it doesn't mean it is.
Most tools don't actually check what's inside the file itself.

TL;DR: most likely a false positive.

Can this serve as a replacement for other physics mods? Actually, I seem to be unable to get the physics version templates to show up in bodyslide at all.

I would think that, yes, it would be a complete substitute for HDT-SMP. But you should first check your CBBE setup. I use MO2 and on my GOG Skyrim install, I can see the CBBE physics templates. If you find that you need to use XPMSSE, you will need to find a way to make FNIS work with the GOG version. I haven't been able to find a method on the internet, but Nemesis will work as a substitute for FNIS (in most cases). Which mod manager do you use?

MO2, although I don't think it's the newest version (2.4.4). Setup looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/aQR1jCE.png
I've got FNIS setup to run through MO2, same with LOOT, BodySlide, and SKSE. FNIS at least claims to work, although if it's actually not then that could be my problem.

Should say, I'm completely new to Skyrim modding but I've managed to get most everything else working properly.

DDDespair: MO2, although I don't think it's the newest version (2.4.4).
2.4.4 is the current version, but you need the GOG and EPIC support update file.
A different version of game_skyrimse.dll to overwrite the one in your MO2 plugin's folder.
