texture bug

So I was walking around Sadrith Mora with just Patch for Purists and my GOG install, and I noticed the wood using the Bloodmoon texture. I see that Pfp gives the bloodmoon wood a unique name and includes the heartwood mesh with an updated path (presumably it does this for the other similar expansion texture conflicts as well) but would it also be worth including the vanilla base game textures with Pfp so as to fix the issue for GOG users?

My GOG install is my only 100% vanilla install, so its possible this is an issue for steam users as well, I just couldn't see it because at some point maybe I already added the pre-expansion textures to my steam data files texture folder

For Reference

GOG users need to remove the default Meshes, Textures, Icons and Bookart folders found in Morrowind\Data Files after a fresh install. The original Construction Set disc (a separate disc) came with uncompressed assets. GOG thought it was a good idea to put those in the games Data Files folder, but the game can't handle these files well. This is causing the load times to slow down without any visual improvements. Don't worry about deleting these folders; all files are already present in the BSA.

... and what are "the default Meshes, Textures, Icons and Bookart folders found in Morrowind\Data Files"? The whole folders?

from my understanding is that it implies, you should delete the folder themselves

that being said i tested it out and it worked fine for me, you'll be prompted with a message, but it's a false positive just click yes and continue, also i would definitely use mods to replace those folders as well, but i'll leave that to your discretion
anyways hope i helped a bit, i know it seems scary but everything worked fine for me in a fresh install

Where did this advice come from?
