This is really cool, I was afraid it might take longer.

Skyrim GOG came 1 year after the 10 years anniversary update, as we know there was some resistance from the community to update their mods to the GOG version.

This likely means that the Fallout 4 next-gen update will come to both platforms at the same time.
Well, considering the type of game Fallout 76 is, there's probably no way to put that game here on GOG without including DRM, which CDPR [owners of GOG] are against. I could be wrong, though.
But overall, nice move including Fallout 4 here. Even thougt I'll probably never play Fallout 4, well done GOG.

CDPR are not the owners of GOG; they have a common owner. CDPR is not against DRM; they use it themselves whenever they feel like it. If Fallout 76 were to appear here, I'd never visit gog.com again. Not because it's absolute garbage (wich, by all accounts, it is, even if you ignore the bugs); there are plenty of other bad games I am perfectly capable of ignoring (although I do have a harder time with Fallout games; I really wish Bethesda had created their own, more easily ignored franchise). Why would anyone continue to buy from GOG, given all of its problems, if they drop their only major distinguishing feature?
I knew it would not take long for a Troll for DRM to show up again cause GoG 'stole' another DRM cash cow. lol

That depends, you talkin about me? If so, I wasn't trolling at all. If not, I assume you're talking about darktjm responding to my comment. May I have clarity? I'd like to know your thoughts.

Ah, your just bitter cuz of how Cyberpunk 2077 turned out mate. There's more to life than constantly being angry all the time, which's bad for one's mental health. Logic I apply to myself too, y'know. Just trying to have civilized discussion here. Is that so hard?

Huh? How does my correction of your factual misstatements about CDPR translate into this? I don't care about that game at all. What does my disappointment at gog allowing an on-line-multi-player only game with all of the worst attributes of such games (Gwent) have to do with CP2077? I mean, other than both being the products of CDPR. I'm pretty sure CDPR has made other games I don't care about, as well.

And samhill345, if you're talking about me, how do you get "pro DRM troll" out of "Fallout 76, an on-line multiplayer-only game that will never be separated from its DRM, does not belong on gog"? Did you miss the "76" part? Do you think I'm alone in this thought? Did you miss the "Hitman" public outcry?

Was I not clear? I have no objections to Fallout 4 being on gog, even though I don't want to buy the game myself. If that's the kind of game people want, they should be allowed to play it. Fallout 76, on the other hand, would represent a base change in gog's anti-DRM policies. The same goes for TES Online and any other such game.

Did the fact that I also criticized Bethesda's Fallout franchise distract you? I suppose I should apologize for inserting a Fallout-specific comment into a thread that's not even on the Fallout subforum. Fallout and Fallout 2 are my favorite games of all time. It's hard for me not to comment about it.

If you have a comment about what I've said, please actually respond to what I said, rather than what I haven't. Am I going to get responses to this implying I said I advocate torturing babies?

I get you're criticizing Bethesda's Fallouts. I do too. And yest, both classic Fallouts're among my favorite games ever made. I simply stated my thoughts on how people wish for CDPR and GOG to burn due to Cyberpunk's launch [and yes, I do criticize CDPR for how they went about it, I just think there're more important things in life than constantly engaging in drama and never letting upand never forgiving anyone for even first offenses, especially minor slights], if outrage culture's anything to go by in my opinion. I never said GOG and CDPR were COMPLETELY DRM-Free. As for GOG's owners, care to enlighten me? I'm now curious. No, you aren't advocation child killing at all, so don't worry bout that. What I do have issue with is toxic behavior in general [not accusing you or anyone of being toxic by the way]. I also said I wanted civilized discussion here to specifically avoid drama. I'm merely giving my honest feelings on the subject, nothing else. I clearly made an error talking about Fallout 76 being on GOG [I HOPE it never comes to that]. So, I apologize if I derailed this discussion unintentionally. So, just so we're clear, I'm sure you have valid arguments for how you feel. I'm just hesitant to believe content creators on such matters since they just care about ad revenue on a whole. Maybe give me liks to credible sources so I can personally educate myself? Also, just so you know, if anything I say might not make sense, I'm autistic and as such I have a hard time simply taking one's word for it without evidence. Just keep that in mind.

p.s. Hitman 2016 was removed from GOG [a decision I support], I just hate that people, instead of being grateful their voices were heard and listened to, simply cry "TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!" or "DAMAGE HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE" arguments to actively look for excuses to be scumbags without suffering consequences for their behavior and how it affects people who aren't like that.

Basically, I think people should be more constructive with their feelings. Maybe then, companies would take our opinions seriously. And if they don't, then vote with your wallet's what I say to people. Too bad most people'd dismiss my advice. Anyway, I've said everything I need to say right now. I'm not going to waste anymore virtual breath if I fight for a lost cause [I still hold on to hope, though, however fleeting it's become] Later.

Trolls for DRM trying to flood the thread. Now where is that lock threat function....

At least I'm willing to drop the matter altogether. Also, locking a thread because I mentioned Fallout 76 isn't the way to go mate. If anything, it only gives more power to actual trolls, giving them the sadistic pleasure they want. Might want to elaborate on who you're referring to in regards to DRM trolls. Me? darktjm? or both. The latter, in his defense, does wanna know too. Anyway, I have work tomorrow morning, so I want to get a good nights rest so I wake up bright and early. Good Night.

@darktjm Hope ya believe me when I say I wasn't deliberately trying to cause conflict. Maybe I shoulda been more specific on my views in my initial comment from the start. Anyway, I gotta get ready for bed. Good Night.

Just contact a moderator, using chat, or post in the sticky reporting thread. A Fallout thread doesn't belong in the Elder Scrolls subforum, anyway. It would best if this thread were deleted, instead of just locked.
Wait, this's the wrong thread? In that case, this really belongs on the Fallout subforum like darktjm said. Can't believe I didn't think of that myself earlier.
Yeah a thread lock function would be great for when the Trolls for DRM spam a thread.
