If I buy Morrowind on GOG, can I choose which expansions I want to download? Or is it like Gothic 2 where it downloads the expansions regardless of what you want?

In short, I just want to play vanilla Morrowind without expansions. Is it possible with the GOG version. If not, I'll stick with my disc version (from TES Anthology), but still buy it on GOG with hopes of more Bethesda games in the future.

It's just one installer. I haven't run it yet, but I assume it installs everything.

Why do you just want only Morrowind? There's a mod to delay the Dark Brotherhood attacks if you don't want to do Tribunal, and the expansions contained a lot of bugfixes. They really don't change anything on the mainland.

I have not bought the GoG version yet but from my experience with the disc version I recall that both expansions are *.esm files that you can disable in the launcher, if you want to experience vanilla Morrowind without the addons. This *should* absolutely be possible in the gog version as well.

I just like finishing the unaltered vanilla game and then playing the expansions. Same reason I refuse to mod games until I experience the vanilla version. Granted I've already experienced Morrowind, I have yet to finish the main quest. In every game I play, if there's a sidequest or something I have to do it, and will drop the main quest completely for it. I just want to see the main quest through before I get side tracked by the expansions.

Thanks. I can't believe I forgot that considering I do recall using it now.
