I just downloaded/installed Daggerfall in Win7 64bit. The game starts fine, but I discovered in the initial tutorial that using the right mouse button (M2) does not swing the equipped weapon, making the game unplayable.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix that?

The controls seem a little sluggish. But if you keep trying it should work. I have windows 7 64 bit and it works for me.

ETA. Click the right mouse button, hold and move the mouse around. The weapon should start swinging, it takes a little getting used to the controls.

Do you hold mouse button !and! move your mouse across screen? That's less or more how attacking works. I know when I played it first time I also thought that something was wrong and died to the rat XD

I am having the same problem, and the solution here does not help me. Anyone else?

Consider using Daggerfall Unity.

Thanks, Daw Edhel, I tried Unity per your suggestion and attacking works fine now. I even chose the attack with a click option and it works well.
